If Love Is Unrequited, Be Sure That You Will Be Replaced With A Better Match

This is a story about the love I have experienced since I was in high school in grade 2. Starting from an ordinary friendship that ended in competition. Call it the initials of my rival as well as the person who is able to acknowledge my abilities, RA.

At first I became a rival to him because I was able to beat him in the Mathematics test. He felt unacceptable, because usually he always came first for that subject. However, I don't care. And in every other math test I didn't expect, I was always able to beat it. Without realizing it, this competition is something I can be proud of. And the longer we competed, I felt like I had fallen for him.

I continued to harbor these feelings until I went up to grade 3. Because of a suggestion from my best friend to express my feelings before I regretted it. And at the appointed time, I said it all in front of him. The response? He smiled sincerely, and I still remember his smile which I thought was warm. And he felt the same way. I am happy, very, very happy. However, I decided not to be in a relationship as a lover, because what I wanted was for me to be both his best friend and rival. And he agreed, and didn't mind it all.

However, when I entered semester 2 in college. He stated that he was bored with only friendly relations. And since then, he never gave me any news, and every time I contacted him no one was responded by him. Either I feel stupid or I take it for granted. Since that incident, 3 months later did not give any news. I finally gave up, giving up wishing for it back.

Those times were where I was down. However, there was a man who wanted to be my friend. I hesitated at first, but it's a good thing to forget about it. He is a man who has the same hobbies as me. Then, I introduced my best friend to the same hobby.

The three of us are good friends, every time there is any event, always together. Passing through the ups and downs together, telling each other, solving problems together. On the one hand, I began to harbor feelings for the man, then I told our friends who were none other than girls. After a while, we were together. Shocking news fell on our friendship. He, that boy, likes my best friend. He only told me about it, but on the one hand, I shouldn't be selfish.

I chose to forget this feeling and chose to step back and support his decisions. And in the end they got into a relationship, and I realized our friendship was starting to drift apart. Either I think too negatively or what, they seem to stay away. However, I can't be selfish. I can't interfere with their relationship, I don't want to hurt them, let me feel it. Because I believe, God has prepared the best for me. I really believe that.
